Optimizing Documentation With a Phone

Rather than digital zoom, which makes photos grainy, get closer to the subject instead. Use burst mode for quick moments like blowing out candles or mid-game. Storing and Sharing Memories

Also create a shared album that all guests with photos can contribute to — this is usually very effective for gathering documentation from angles the main photographer might've missed. Print at least 5–10 of the best photos for a physical album or frame, since digital photos that just sit in the cloud are rarely opened again. A small album left on the living room table gets looked at far more often.
